We're In the Smithsonian NMAAHC Museum Store!

In the Fall of 2019, I was contacted by a jewelry buyer from the Smithsonian Institution.  I missed her call and she'd left a voicemail message for me, and when I heard the message I dropped everything and called her right back.  At the time I had created my first "Naturally ME" Enamel Lapel Pin, and the buyer was interested in purchasing some to sell in the Museum Store of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC).

She thought the pins would be a great complement to the theme of the museum, and was excited about the possibility of adding them to their offerings of products that represent and celebrate the heritage of African Americans.  I fell in love with NMAAHC even before it first opened it's doors in September of 2016, and have been an enthusiastic supporter ever since.  For me, this was a dream come true.

I was thrilled, and if that wasn't enough, the buyer told me that she'd been on my website and seen my Naturally ME T-Shirts, and wondered if I'd be willing to make three more of my Naturally ME girls into pins so the museum's customers would have a selection!  Well, guess what I did ...

I had all of the pins made by the end of the year and they are now available in the Museum Shop!

I couldn't be happier or more thankful for this opportunity!  If you happen to visit this museum, which I highly recommend because it is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, be sure to check them out.
