I am so honored to have my SKCreations, LLC Designer Profile featured in the March 2025 issue of British Vogue. This issue's cover features the South African singer, Tyla. I have heard some of her music and I really like the rhythms. From what I have read, her style is "amapiano", a South African music genre that combines house, jazz, soul, and lounge music. I had never heard the term before, but the sounds moved me right away.
Tyla was born in one of my favorite cities, Johannesburg, affectionately known as Jo'burg, in South Africa. I had an amazing time when I visited there a number of years ago.
Tyla also has an incredible fashion sense that sets her apart from the rest. It's no wonder that she was chosen to be on this month's cover. I am glad to have learned more about this singing sensation. Grab a copy of the issue if you can.
